New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Lot of these stadiums are concept art…we saw that too many times!

They have to fund them, build them in very bleak finances. No way United etc can afford their plans so likely be reduced.

We have built ours and TFG looking to get Nelson dock so no reason why can’t expand.
This is spot on. Lots of big plans for Birmingham, but I’ll believe it when I see.
The only stadium development I can see happening anytime soon would be Newcastle, because of the Saudi backing.

Believe that when I see it too, if PIF were that desperate to demonstrate their wealth as custodians of the newly ‘richest club in the world’ they would have done more that appoint Eddie Howe and have £63m Isak as their most expensive signing.
Pound for pound and with inflation, Shepard and Hall were more ambitious

But they were unrestricted by PSR. Hall was, indeed, massively ambitious - and built the most exciting side in the country: no mean feat when Ferguson was in his pomp.

I take your point, though. If these Saudis were truly ambitious, they's have found more ways around these restrictions by now...

This is mainly why I think NUFC are very much the poor relation to the boxing and LIV golf etc. PSR hasn’t stopped City and they’re comparative pauper's to the Saudi’s not to mention their political clout to avoid PSR troubles should they wish to push the boundaries.

yeah good point, you would have thought they would be more established at this point in time. Are they under the spotlight more, after what’s gone on with city though. Maybe they waiting to see the outcome of city’s charges first.

I don't think that will work either, I know United fans at Anfield and RS at OT are kept in after game. United fans are escorted to coaches or to Lime Street. The issue is that historically RS drank around Anfield and only had to walk 10 minutes to GP. We drank around ours. Police knew route RS would walk, now you're going to have Blues and Reds drinking in town before hand, and main entrance to away end is going to be by Everton pubs. For most teams it won't be an issue RS, Geordies, Manc clubs and others.
Hopefully the club secure and exclusive dedicated drinking area for the RS, in the sewage works

That grass needs cutting
Slightly off topic but Lime St to St John's Gardens to Dale St could be our equivalent of the high line but on the ground. It could be a spectacular, green walking route from the station to where the hotels and pubs are. They haven't even removed the flyovers properly yet we're getting a new light column thing by the tunnel entrance.

I think they are playing the long game.

I’ve been very impressed with their restrained approach, juxtaposed as it was with Moshiri’s trolley dash.

Might only be a minor thing but what irritates me about those new signs is that the Everton ones have a small s in Stadium whilst RS have a capital S in theirs. Not sure if this was done on purpose.
grammatically thats thew wrong way round, as Everton Stadium has used the Stadium as a proper noun so needs a big S, Analfields stadium isnt a proper noun so should be a little s. Basic grammar.
