It feels that they are starting out as they mean to go on.

How very nice so far - putting infrastructure in place - moving to Goodison, appt of a qualified CEO/leader for the Women's side of the club - it will be fun to watch what comes next AND what the results are over the next few years.

Be interesting with all these changes how close they can get to the top 4. A more professional operation off the field should help them challenge the likes of City, Chelsea, United and Arsenal a bit more.

Is that the Sara Holmgaard to Real Madrid rumor?
None of the 3 players were the ones i mentioned. But Sara is talking to Real Madrid. She was undecided the final day and is actually out of contract. Her sister oddly has a year left. So for whatever reason last year Sara signed a 1 year deal, and Karen a 2 year deal with the same agency

Feel like losing holmgaard would be a big loss.

I hope we actually try to attract some top top talent and give it a proper go, think if we recruit strongly we could try to be best of the rest so to speak and I hope that is the ambition, though I know it isn't easy and other clubs probably want to do the same.

Be nice to see a statement signing.

Thanks, I appreciate your response and knowledge.

Not a big follower of the ladies team, so far, but it seems that we sign players on very short term deals, one or two years. If we hope to build a team to challenge for trophies would it not be better to sign players for a longer contract, so when players might attract the attention of Real etc. then we would be able to get a fee for them?
