Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Under Pep, he was told to stay wide

Under Dean Smith at Villa he drifted everywhere, even popping up on the right at times. He spoke openly about the freedom Smith gave him to go where he wanted
Exactly - he was magic when he was popping up all over the place.

That doesn't sound like Moyes either.
Maybe not 20 years ago. He's pretty good at utilizing creative players now. He gave Paqueta lots of opportunities and persisted with it. Eventually he stuck him on the left with freedom to roam and that is when he was playing so well Man City almost bought him.

I don't really think too hard about what is possible or not.

I am not 100% sold on Grealish exactly, just feel that he would be a good fit in the team/squad, just don't really care about what he is and what he could be getting paid. Especially as nobody really knows anyway, unless his wage is leaked nobody truly knows how much we would be paying. They would also not know the exact dent it does to the finances, it is all just pure guess work.

I have heard everything from 150K to 300K, Man City would be paying this much, the loan fee is this much, no it is this much, oh it might be that much. This is really my point, nobody knows the amount or the structure of anything. There is no way of knowing whether this is the only signing we will be able to make or we can also buy the younger players. I mean we have already got Alcaraz in so that is already one of the 6 young hungry players in.

I mean, do I know if there is anything from stopping us buying 6 hungry signings with potential and 1/2 signings that are more likely to play up to a high standard right now?

The answer is no, so at the moment my debating on the potential signing is solely down to whether I think he will be a good fit in the team/squad. My opinion is, as mentioned above, he would be.
Ok, I completely disagree. He's exactly the type of signing that has ruined us in the past.

N'Diaye likes coming central. They would be a great interlinking pair. When Grealish is encouraged to run with the ball and be positive he is a brilliant player who produces lots of chances and scores goals. Its pretty simple really. People go on about his wages, but if we can afford a subsidised package it truly is a no brainer. He is one of the best English players of his generation.
We must be talking about different players.

Was initially interested but think it's now a swerve for me. Just don't trust that he can get up to his best again.

If we want to get someone from City it should be McAtee. Sign players on the up and not players who are going down.

Yeah, best avoid....
