New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Local catering company, looks like they would be doing the corporate box level catering, rather than the standard catering

So if thats what they do then the delay talked of on here, boxes etc not being ready, isn't now the case.

One of the main worries I have with segregation of home and away fans outside ground. There was a huge police presence to escort RS across park, even then objects and smoke bombs were thrown. Past trouble has been averted by fans, avoiding each other. Orcs drink around Klanfield, we drink around GP, now you're going to have huge numbers of Blues and Orcs in city centre and how are they going to escort RS to Bramley Moore.
Ye there's going to be murder against a few certain clubs

This was always going to be one of the major differences between BMD and GP. At GP, most of us have little or no interaction with away fans at all (who for the most part are just ordinary well-behaved fans nowadays). They predominantly arrive and depart from the one corner with little or no confrontation for the vast majority of us..... and with no need to lock them in post match. Basic logistics of the new site, means that there could be a far greater interaction and general awareness of the away fans. Not a problem for most teams nowadays, but there are potential exceptions. This relatively recent idea of allowing away fans (especially european fans) to assemble, then arrive at the stadium en masse ultra-style, could be disastrous at BMD imo. Hopefully that has all been worked out and we don't create a new Cold Blow Lane on steroids.

I'm sure it is for you. But there are many who wont be able to get that distance for one reason or another.

Still, devil take the hindmost I suppose...
I walked back to lime street after the second test event and it was fine, vast majority of our fan base should be able to walk a couple of miles

I`ve not walked the route for a long time, but it is a lot more of a straight forward walk back to town then it was at Goodison, and when the developers get their fingers out and get on with what they propose to do with the area to the south of the stadium it looks like it will be a nice area to walk through. At the last test event a lot of folks walking into town seemed to head straight down Regent road and there was a bit of a build up at the bridge which seemed to cause a bit of an issue. Not sure how many folks headed out towards Great Howard street where there seems to be plenty of footpath space to walk to town on. There might need to be a system put in place to encourage folks from the north side of the ground to head from the ground straight out towards Great Howard street before turning right towards town and have most of the foot traffic going down Regent road coming from the south stand to avoid having a bottle neck at the bridge.

Would imagine we would just keep away fans in if the potential for any bother, why I find it mad where the family section is located. We are going to walk past the south stand and down the west as it just saves any issues as I not putting my 5 through any stress

You walked back in decent weather from a half capacity crowd.

Disabled fans IIRC can get closer to the stadium at the beginning of soft closure areas (not sure how far travel by car into it is possible - starts on Bankfield St to the north of the stadium and Saltney St to the south). And that's time related before it turns into a hard closure area an hour before KO, so disabled supporters may have to get to the stadium pretty early.

Stand to be corrected on that.

New singage on Dale St...

The new bars that are being built - terrace and the wok / new blue house are pretty much opposite that corner the away fans will access / egress I think.

Definitely potential for bother when we play certain clubs, ie Liverpool, either Manc team, Lower league teams in the cup etc.

Is keeping away fans in for a period at the end of a game a thing in the Prem?
