New sponsor needed

We will continue with Stake until next season.

They are unable to operate in the UK, but so are the sponsors of Leicester (http://bc.game), Bournemouth (BJ88), and Forest (Kaiyun Sport).

It is "unlawful" in optic only to promote them, but its a grey area. Its not actually enforceable until the Premier League's new rules on gambling sponsors come into play. Which is when the Stake contract ends anyway.

If the club can drop Stake without forfeiting the sponsorship money then I'm sure they would/will do it.

The bigger question here is why almost every club outside of the elite has to rely on gambling sponsorship in the first instance. Yet again more leftover crumbs from the super clubs feast.

I don't think anyone wants this type of sponsorship in an ideal world but for some reason it seems to have been all that's available at the minimum level required to contribute to income streams.

I am critical of the previous regime for almost everything but here it doesn't seem there were other viable options.

It will be interesting to see who the next shirt sponsor is and what the deal is worth, particularly in light of the underwhelm regarding Hill Dickinson.
Would like to hope that becuase it is stake fault we would still loose money but eould still get some because it is them breaking the deal. Hopefully because the first season at the atadium we can attract a big deal

Refuse to buy a shirt with a gambling sponsor. Hate it.
If children's replica shirts cant look the same as the ones they see the players in, then we shouldn't bother with the sponsor, It's difficult enough to get children to follow Everton given the garbage football that's been on show for the last few years, and then you have to hand them a kit that's not the same as the men's team..

If the Hill Dickinson sponsorship is worth as much as they’ve suggested, I’m kind of suprised they didn’t go for the shirt rather than the stadium - equally suprised the club didn’t push them down that road.
If their aim is simply more brand recognition the shirt surely has greater exposure?

Plus we would be free to pursue other company’s for the stadium.

you know what would be a good sponsor, maybe something which doesn't have the word dick in it
How about

I was at an event in Croke Park recently and the President of the GAA said that every financial problem they have would disappear if they accepted any of the countless offers they have received from the gaming scheisters.

But just like the alcohol.industry, they refused to deal with sponsors who prey on the very kids and communities that they are trying to represent and promote.

All the EITC palaver is great but when it is partly paid for by gaming it is like Flogas sponsoring a holocausto memorial.

Neither EFC nor the EPL have any moral compass
