You’re right. Let’s bid for Nunez. He must be amazing because Klopp bought him.I seem to recall a pot or three before it went West.
I did make it clear he used to be good. He maybe again but we should not be taking the risk. You’re right. Let’s bid for Nunez. He must be amazing because Klopp bought him.
If City pay 150K then that would be a reasonable wage considering his pedigree.Isn’t he on like 250k a week
Surely this is a non starter
Don’t think he’s gonna take a 200k per week paycut to join us
Absolutely, don't understand how people can ignore that level of quality, he'd be a level above anything we currently have (aside from ndiaye) and I think he's probably still got a bit to prove after being benched. It’s funny to see people turning their noses up at a player of Grealish’s quality, when we’ve had to watch Harrison on the wing for 2 seasons who isn’t fit to lace Grealish’s boots.
We won’t get him cos he’s class and on a lot more money than we can pay him, but he’d be a great signing if we could bring him in.
A well known manager once said you should never buy a player on their way down as they'll think they are doing you a favour by joining you rather than the opposite way of a player on the way up who will see your club as a stepping stone to greater thingsAbsolutely, don't understand how people can ignore that level of quality, he'd be a level above anything we currently have (aside from ndiaye) and I think he's probably still got a bit to prove after being benched.
It’s because we have limited recourses and he would use a large chunk of them. Would he improve our squad? Yes, of course. But we need to sign players who give us the best value for money. And Grealish doesn’t warrant the obscene wage he would demand. He isn’t that good. It’s funny to see people turning their noses up at a player of Grealish’s quality, when we’ve had to watch Harrison on the wing for 2 seasons who isn’t fit to lace Grealish’s boots.

I agree with you in the main, yet Kendall excelled bringing in players on their way down such as Gray or Powers. I think it is purely down to luck whether it works out or not. But that applies to every single transfer.A well known manager once said you should never buy a player on their way down as they'll think they are doing you a favour by joining you rather than the opposite way of a player on the way up who will see your club as a stepping stone to greater things
