I get that mate.

But that money still has to come from somewhere , whether it's a Friedkin subsidiary or not. Can't see it Mac.
As an owner of a football club, you are in the game to spend money. If you think you are going to either make money or even just break even, then you're in the wrong business. TFG have spent big with roma because they want roma to be successful. For everton to be successful it is going to take a massive investment using their own money. Good sponsorship deals will not cut it.

Glazers have done alright owning a football club.

Hope you are right.

They are very wealthy people. They can move money from one account to another surely. Won’t actually be spending it. They can pluck a lower figure if it suits.

Exactly. Mosh knew how to put on a show.

Everton
David Moyes’ feel-good return to Everton has had the desired effect as the first win of his second stint at Goodison Park – 3-2 vs Spurs on January 19 – sparked a huge upturn in results and performances as they have marched to Premier League safety.

Still, Everton’s immediate future is clouded in uncertainty. While the internal noise indicates Moyes is their man beyond this season, this could easily change in a heartbeat.

Moyes bringing the good vibes back to Everton has secured safety, but there are concerns that his pragmatic playing style is too similar to that of Sean Dyche. This may ensure his return is shortlived as their new owners pick a manager to overhaul the playing style and kickstart a new era. Mate.

Now, I've been an Ange fan for a while but is "living on a knife edge attacking football" worth it?
