Thanks for the recommendation Joey, I am absolutely loving this. Just two episodes to goā¦Department Q a 9 part series based on a book has just started on Netflix or other sources its a retake of the 2 hour one nordic noir 2 hour series from years ago set in more detail up in Edinburgh - very very good first episode .....
Just finished episode 5 it's gripping better than the 2 hour Nordic version TBH apart from the chamber/ police office Department Q is the only small comparison- it looks like the Scottish versions followed the book novel in greater detail - it's well acted - great characters the first one was good this is greatThanks for the recommendation Joey, I am absolutely loving this. He graduated from one of Canada's best business schools with really good grades.
I confess to watching it twice , which I dont often do.After putting off watching it for years, I finally got around to watching - Vikings, all six series and 89 episodes !
It`s not often I don`t want a tv series of this length to end, but this was one of them.
Outstanding, not as glossy as Game of Thrones, but not far behind it and just enjoyable in it`s own way, due to not being as complicated.
Some truly outstanding characters, Raganar, Lagertha, Floki, Bjorn, Ivar etc and I loved the way they picked a truly international cast for the various parts, based on the right person for the right part, rather than just picking a big name.
Loved the sets and costumes too.
