New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Just in case no one knows, they're just jazzed up bendy buses.

Second rate transport solutions.

We had those bendy buses in London until Bojo the clown canned them when he got in as mayor because he wanted to bring back the old route master buses.

I used them and thought they were okay with a much larger capacity then usual busses even double deckers.

The bad thing about them is they are useless on narrow streets with tight turns and some of them caught fire.

Its not a derelict dock though, its used by liverpool canoe/kayak club (FoA) who use it on a weekly basis and supply more than half the mens and womens GB teams.
This impacts them massively, they lose a lot of parking and access to that side of the dock which was used as a viewing area when tournaments are played.
Pity Mr Drone doesnt give them a mention
Yeah, you’re absolutely right. I was exaggerating for effect.

Considering people paying £3500 for less, direct from everton, that plus a £780 season ticket isn't the worst deal in the world.

I personally think they won't get huge interest for seasonal membership, if they can do that for £125 a pop per game, they might do ok. If they do really well, the club know they need to increase their hospitality to provide similar or better.

Wasn't the village £1700 +vat for the cheapest for free food and drinks before during and after?

Just spotted this

£1.6bn for Liverpool city region with faster connections to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Everton stadium and Anfield, and a new bus fleet in St Helens and the Wirral next year

Article on the BBC

Manchester got £2.24bn, they already have a tram and they're getting that money to extend it. It cost originally about £2bn to build the current one.

Liverpool getting £1.6bn won't do much good. Stations at Woodside on the Wirral and st helens are the plan.

The other bonus is that they are bi-directional, so they can more easily run shuttle services down the dock road with having no requirement for a turning circle.
Exactly

We've got Merseyrail with underground stations etc. Unfortunately the percentage coverage isn't great.... so maybe that can be expanded if the loop lines can be resurrected. Gliders/Trackless trams could fill in some of the gaps for the eastern arterial routes and all the suburbs they pass through.

Quite the escalation...from struggles with tight turns to DEATH.

Half the city isn’t even covered have trains and are reliant on buses. Compared to Manchester were a back water.

I signed up for the Trinity Bar in the East Stand, was told it was free ale spirits as well from 12 to 3 a snack meal pizza fish and chips that sort of thing. Then free ale at halftime, you pay at full time but think I will be full by then.
Are they actually going to hand out free beer to everyone who's a member for 3 hours before the game?. Will there be a limit? Or will they hire the barman from the all inclusive holiday in Spain that I went on, who moved at a snails pace and only got through about 25 orders an hour working there on his own.

Only one way to find out... but if they do, you should be safe to return to Spain from August through May

Why would you need a station at Woodside when Hamilton Square station is 200 yards away ?
