Computer games.

If anyone here is a fan of Dark Souls, here is an absolutely mental video of a guy invading Shiva (cut content) in game.

Never really understood cut content, like how is it part of the game files and not just binned? Anyhow, it's not unusual for gamers to mine cut content and use pc mods to access it, and Dark Souls has a long history of people doing that to get deep into the Lore. But to do it actually in game is not something I've ever seen before.

Is this worth starting again? Stopped playing after they butchered my poor Lifeline. I just got annihilated by 3 stacks preds while Ive loaded in with a team of me and one other who lands miles away and leaves as soon as theyre knocked.
I actually had a pleasant enough time playing with my two mates when the new season went live last week. First time I'd played in about 8ish months. Some decent QoL changes made to the core BR mode to make it less of a loot simulator and (at least on initial impression) the matchmaking seems at least a bit more balanced in pubs now..

Just browsing my library and noticed the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games have been remastered and put in your library for free and they now have controller support. I'm really buzzing as I never got into them due to keyboard and mouse restrictions.

Sometimes it's still in the game due to coding reasons, sometimes because the cleanup of said code might be too time consuming and bits are left as potential future content, sometimes the content doesn't fit in the narrative/questline, as good as it might be individually.

If anybody is a fan of games like DOOM, I highly recommend a game called Prodeus, same sort of game and you can pick it up for £1.09 on CDKeys. It is very very good. Absolute no brainer for that price, I think I paid 99p a while back. get on it.

I posted this the other day, I've had it a while but I'm like that, I buy, have an initial look and then it's whenever I get round to it.

This is one of the best FPS games I've played for a while and for only £1.09, you're mad if you don't add this to your library

This is likely to be a contender for daftest noob question asked in here but...

I've got an X Box One S, 500 gb drive and it's running a bit short of space. If I remove a game locally off the drive, does the game data stay in the cloud or do you lose that as well?

Don't want to spend on an external drive if I don't really have to.

Your game data/saves etc. stay in n the cloud, so they’ll be there if you decide to reinstall it, providing you are connected to the internet of course.

So Nightreign looks, uh, interesting? Any other blues getting it on PS5?
I like it a lot on first impressions - it's very hard but not in the typical fromsoft way of gameplay mechanics, more decision making and tactics. Very fun sessions but not relaxing at all, so it's a bit different in that sense. Classic Souls play can be quite meditative ime but this is more amped up.

Success is absolutely dependent on teamwork so the lack of in-game communication is causing predictable angst. You can mark the map and hope others follow but that is pretty much it - you can carry someone who's basic in their gameplay to a certain extent, but if someone just does one on their own little mission it bolloxes things up.

Overall I'm really happy with it (first impressions like I say) - no one was expecting something truly original or outstanding with this release, so it's more the new format for fromsoft that's interesting.

Yeah, once I got on with my two mates it was a lot more fun I thought! Been really enjoying it
