Honestly, this sucks.

He's a treasure and such a benefit to the company. He can't have been costing them a lot. A nice retirement run and then into the Hall of Fame and an ambassadorial role. He's been at the company the best part of 20 years.

Plus I find him goddamn hilarious and never get tired of his humour.

First time I've seen a wwe release and thought, oh that's a mistake...

At 53, obviously his in ring days are numbered....but in backstage segments and small in-ring moments, there's still few who make more out of the time they're given....I think this last year might even be his best year....

Surely there's still an on screen role for him as aspiring Manager where he tries to recruit wrestlers to his new Stable...

Have no thought he'll be back again soon, maybe just on a reduced contract (or Legends contract)...

I wonder did HHH and Cena get a heads up, and that's why they booked the Saturday Nights Main Event match as a big send off...his last promo with Solo and JC was hilarious

Santino Marella, was the funniest wrestler ever for me!! Some of his stuff was just so good!

I'd be made up if R-Truth rocked up in either TNA or AEW playing a bitter heel and acting like his old Ron "The Truth" Killings persona. Just have him be ultra cynical and talk about how selfish and crappy people are. That he can't trust anyone, after all, even childhood heros will stab you in the back!

seems like they are getting rid of their "comedy" wrestlers
