there's slave name.Evertonians need to stop calling it Hill Dickinson.
It's like a slave willingly using their own given slave name.
there's slave name.
and there's given name.
you have bewildered the two.
fool.
The point is that the name is commercial and we really shouldn't get into the habit of calling it by the name the commercial world want us to hand it just because they've handed over £2M per annum or whatever it (realistically) will be.
The Everton Stadium is just fine for me. More generally 'The Dockside Stadium' would be good.
Behave yourself Dave ffs. I know we can all be guilty of hyperbole at times but this is ludicrous even by your standards.Evertonians need to stop calling it Hill Dickinson.

This might be the stupidest thing you have ever said and you have the chance to apologise for it here.Evertonians need to stop calling it Hill Dickinson.

He called 'Merseybeat' 'Mersey sound', and when presented with this oversight tried to play it down. We beat Fulham and he declared Moyes wouldn't win another game until December. (We then beat Southampton and newcastle and I reminded him with Christmas songs). This might be the stupidest thing you have ever said and you have the chance to apologise for it here.
Out of everything you have said on here Id say this is by far the worst, and thats saying something.Evertonians need to stop calling it Hill Dickinson.

I know you cannot be oblivious to the legacy of John Bramley Moore who the dock was named after. So using the reference in that context makes it in poor taste. Whilst I am not a fan of the new stadium name, it is in many ways preferable than maintaining links with the original name and it's connections to the slave trade.I'm hardly trivialising slavery using it as an analogy. People use the term every day: "he's a slave driver"; "I'm a slave to this project"...etc etc.
Stop being a drama queen.
