Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

Another frustrating aspect is that Chelsea are working on a deal to sign Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg next summer, he'd have been a good alternative but looks like both want to be hoarded at Chelsea.

Easy to say with hindsight but I don't think we should be spending £30m on a striker this window, Delap or otherwise, unless we've somehow found a big pile of somehow PSR-safe cash. Other areas of the team need strengthening more urgently.

This is our order of needs as I see it, assuming Gueye and Alcaraz sign:

1. New first-choice RW
2. New first-choice RB
3. Striker (if DCL leaves)
4. LB to compete with or take over from Myko
5. CM to compete with or take over from Garner (could be Armstrong?)
6. Striker (if DCL stays)

Saw this coming from a mile away due to the Chelsea-Strasbourg connection.

Money and wages talk. Simple as.

Nevertheless, think he’s mad going to Chelski and it’s also mad that they are continually allowed to spend so much and amass stupid numbers of players, but they are scabs so it’s fair game according to Pigmol, same goes for United, city, the RS, Arsenal and spurs.

Move on to our other targets. Not worth loosing kip over.

He will be stuck on the bench most of the time there always the way with chelsea

Sad to say he's just an investment for Chelsea, they will go on to loan him out numerous times or sell on for a profit. They just stockpile young players and they are allowed to do this by playing the system or finding ways around it. Whether it be putting players on ridiculously long contracts, a loophole now closed, selling Hotels to themselves, or unbelievably selling their own Ladies team...to themselves. I'm sure Masters supports Chelsea no other team gets away with cheating the system so obviously.
