Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

I've never understood the premium thing, but if that's the market. Probably the best reason to look on the continent.

Because foreign players are more likely to take time to find their feet? As evidenced by Mateta scoring 6 goals in his first 2 seasons. Some of them never do find their feet but go back to the continent and become good again. It's a combination of those two things and HG rules (possibly a thing of the past) that drives, or has driven the English premium.

Not sure about this Delap, gives me massive James Beattie vibes

I’ve got a bit of a nagging feeling too. Hope I’m wrong. Arsenal are desperate for a couple of strikers, they’re not interested. City got rid of him and then bought Marmoush, even after being burned by Palmer leaving and becoming a star.

Just worries me that it’s us and United the worst recruiters in the league going head to head for him.

If he good enough for arsenal or city, we wouldn't be in with a chance. Man u can't compete with those two at the moment so they are now looking at the next level below.
