Yeah, one of those that looked a basic goal, but to time the run and jump, climb high and add enough pace an direction on to what was a floaty cross and find the corner, technically fantastic finish.

Seen talk off us managing the signing to impact the right PSR period. Don’t think that’s a factor as signing him in June would only add one months amortisation into the 24/25 accounts. i.e 1/60th of whatever we pay for him. It’s player sales that need to be plonked either side of the PSR line for the best outcome. More likely we just don’t want to pay his salary while he’s off on holiday before pre-season.

If there is even a hint of other clubs being allowed into the bidding process, then just do it now.

I think he is more effective when he play just behind the striker, getting back so he can defend and pick the ball up on the counter, makes us much better. And, he hardly loses the ball so can counter attack more effectively. All in all he makes us a far better team all round.
