2024/25 Jack Harrison

Sits squarely in the tries-but-not-great category of acquisitions that epitomizes 'covid' era Everton.

Keane, Doucs, Harrison, Lindstrom, danjuma, Beto, chermiti, Tim etc

Miko barely scrapes above this, likewise Paterson.

Beto working hard to turn a corner, Miko likewise, Doucs has popped up at crucial moments.

We must stop accepting this type of player and stop rewarding kack recruitment with typical Everton loyalty.

It only serves to prolong our struggles.

How could you have Patterson in a category above Doucs or Beto?

Ok I am in the camp that doesn't think Harrison is good enough but Dyche Moyes and Bielsa all seem to think he is a good addition. All I can think is that they like that he protects the right and he balances the team out?

Yes it's curious that. Mind you I don't see how it balances the team out when so much of our attacking play breaks down on the right hand side.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him turn up again. Loan to buy at low price.

Hope I’m wrong. No where need good enough, same for Dcl / get rid. Time to show some ambition

He worked really hard, but is crossing was diabolical at times. He was also very prone to making mistakes when we've got an overload, I can remember 4 times off the top of my head where he cost us a goal scoring opportunity because of him delaying things too much or not being able to make what is (seemingly) as easy ball.

That video of his ma in tears in the cup is pure Everton magic, and that was the highlight for me.

If the lad wants first choice football then we shouldn't be him, but he's a solid second or third choice. If we're being completely honest though the MLS was where he was at his best so maybe a move back is on the cards, with PL experience he'd probably be one of the best there now
