Hopes for next season.

  • Try to win every game (don't mind us setting up sensibly in certain games with the hope of getting a point though)
  • Try and win a Trophy
  • Minimum Top 10 Finish
  • At least one win away at "the Big 6"
  • Improvement on this seasons points total, 55 minimum.

We have the most embarrassing record bar none in the league cup. Would also love to win as a platform to delivering further success. Never understood the Mickey Mouse description of the competition. We should want to compete in every competition we enter. Top half and a cup would be great for starters.
What's not to understand. It is only Mickey Mouse once we are no longer in it :coffee:

Europe and a cup.

In a world where Forest can get Europe and Palace can win the Cup, these are realistic and attainable targets. Obviously, all is dependent on the colour of the Friedkin money, but if that is forthcoming, Moyes needs to drive us at least four more places up the table minimum. If we have proper owners, it's time for proper improvement and proper achievement.

Just a stable league position, anything from 13th upwards with a decent cup run. Going to take a while to sort this team out. Also looking at a year or two before we start to reap the commercial benefits from the new stadium.

Win every competition we're in.

More realistically: If we didn't throw away our 4x 2 goal leads last season and won them (as we should have), we'd have finished on 58 points and have been in contention for European spots right up until the last few games of the season. With some smart recruitment and maybe a bit of luck with injuries, aim for 60 points.

Being selfish, my hope is for a new manager

Thinking more of my fellow fans that are very happy with the current one, my hope would be top 10 and a cup run to give us something to get excited about after years of misery

Plus either an exciting new player we all love, or one of the current ones we love like Branthwaite or Ndiaye really stepping up a level
