Hopes for next season.

Also... I'd love to see us play some exciting football. Remember exciting football? No, me neither.

With Ndiaye and Alcaraz in the side, plus an upgrade on Harrison and maybe a striker who know where the cow's @rse is when he's holding a banjo, we might see some decent stuff. Maybe.

It's the hope that kills you.
If you are a professional athlete or coach you should constantly be aiming to prove you are the best . That is ,after all , the whole purpose of professional sports.
If you don’t constantly aspire to be the best then you probably never will be.
We have had 30years of excusing failure , celebrating survival as if it represented success, it has become embarrassing and boring .
We have slipped from being a top club to the status of an inconsequential non-entity whose only notable feature is the continued passion of its supporters,
New owners , New stadium , no more excuses.

Win something, anything. Love a league cup win.

Finish as high in the league as possible.

Be competitive in every single game, no matter the opposition.
We have the most embarrassing record bar none in the league cup. Would also love to win as a platform to delivering further success. Never understood the Mickey Mouse description of the competition. We should want to compete in every competition we enter. Top half and a cup would be great for starters.

Like I said, the hope kills you !!

My hopes:

To be competitive all season. From the very first kick off to the last whistle on the final day.
Challenge Europe.
Have 7 or 8 players that should be the bedrock of a team for several years.
A clear succession plan for Moyes once he goes.
A complete change in the way we ate perceived. No more plucky little Everton but that we've finally woken up the giant within.

Top half finish. Feels we have some stability now and a decent core of players to work around. If we recruit well we could be looking at potential European spots.
