LFC Parade Incident

I don’t get why he’s veered right into the crowd of people like that.

Even if it’s momentary road rage, you’d think he’d just try to speed away down water street.

Jesus christ, just saw the news. I hope everyone turns out ok except the trashbag who did this. What a vile action.

No need for apologies mate, I get it

I was trying to offer alternative options as I didn't want to believe it could be intentional, and I know how things can be taken the wrong way when it's written not spoken....

Just hope everyone's OK and the truth comes out quickly....

Last thing we need is more drama because of Chinese whispers
So what did you mean when you said if they did as they were told and behaved it would have been avoided?

Mob mentality takes over-people are rightfully angry when someone drives through a crowd filled with young children, the rat should've got out when he realised he couldn't get through.
Got out the car?

While I am not excusing his actions, far from it, when people are opening your doors and kicking / striking your car, it may not have been sensible.

Glad to hear they'll be OK, hope they will cope with the trauma in good time.

I've checked in with a few friends but my sis-in-law cant get hold of her cousin who's over from Oz. I imagine there's hundreds of families going through similar. 😔

It's increasingly sounding like a road rage incident where the driver lost patience, some in the crowd (might have) reacted angrily, and then he's completely lost his head, causing carnage. All completely unnecessary and an absolutely sickening way for the day to end.

Nah he already ran people over then when stopped he closed the door slammed on and drove into more people.

There is a video of him at the corner of North John Street and Dale Street in a confrontation with fans. My first question, why continue down to Water Street?

He'd passed Hackins Hey by this point, but there is Exchange Street East. Why not divert down there? Why continue towards a clearly blocked Strand?

In terms of where the car has come from, there are several roads where he could have come from off Dale Street.

There is ample parking in the side streets where a journey may have originated, either commercial, private or council parking.
The whole thing is crackers from start to finish.

So what did you mean when you said if they did as they were told and behaved it would have been avoided?
I wrongly assumed it was fans ignoring advice and blocking up roads that were supposed to be open, ignoring traffic resulting in an accident.

I hold my hands up and admit it was wrong and could have been put across a lot better.
