2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

5 of the last 6 posts by the club on Instagram are Charly. The other seems to indicate Gana isn't returning ("Nobody did it better than Idrissa.") If they weren't making him permanent, you'd think they'd be quieter, so this bodes well.

I almost get the feeling we only tried to get this done as soon as Doucoure said no to a new deal. Surely we would have had all this sorted as it should have been already. And the fee could be more than what we agreed as well based on him doing well

There's no need to get this done any sooner than the deadline of the contract, other than to appease supporter anxiety.

They'll need to work out the contract with Alcaraz. Until they do, they can activate the clause.

Great news that Moyes wants to keep him. Am I right in thinking Charlie hasn't had a proper rest for ages? Trained & available for Flamengo all season then straight into the Premier League for half a season if I'm correct.
