2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

He needs a bit of protecting from refs in my opinion mate, I think he gets a lot of ankle biters players at other clubs don’t get due to referring decision bias.

You can do it to Everton players.
Totally agree. People are all over him constantly but he just plays on. Completely different approach to the likes of Saka and Gordon who go down at the slightest touch

Would be interesting to see his heatmap for todays game - he seemed to be the out ball every time and some great covering.

That dive from Gordon yesterday was embarrassing. He was schooled by Ashley Young and didn't make it beyond half-time. Getting £40M for him and replacing him with N'diaye and still having around £25M excess was proper business from Kopite Kev.

I said from the start he reminded me of Pienaar who was probably my favourite player of that Moyes era but I think NDiaye surpasses him.
Interesting comparison I'd not thought about....kind of makes you think a bit about how Moyes want's his players to adapt to his proven formula. I am starting to see a bit of the Tim Cahill in Alcaraz, and maybe there's a bit of Jagielka in Jake? If he can continue to improve Beto, Mykolenko and Tim in the same vein then I think there are much better days ahead. Considering none of the three (N'diaye, Alcaraz and Jake) were scouted or brought in by Moyes they look pretty damn perfect for him. Get himself a new right-back and that back four or five is as good as anything out there.

Think Jake might be more of a Lescott. Scores a goal and can play full back.
