Hopes for next season.

Good end of the season and I think we can look at the lower top half for a finish next season. It`ll be important to get off to a good start, and if we do we should be targeting a top 10 finish. Palace and Forest will have extra fixtures to deal with, Spurs and United will have to have a major step up if they are to move up the table, and the likes of Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth and Brighton have all had good seasons but we should be aiming to beat sides like that.

If we get a striker I want Europe. Failing that just entertain me Everton, have me going the match thinking we have a chance, even an outside chance regardless of who we are playing. No more “were going to get smashed by these” thinking would make me more than happy.

To win a cup and get as high as we realistically can in the league. With a positive approach and a few decent signings I don't see why not. My biggest wish is a) to watch some better football than the drivel we've had since Martinez and early Silva, and b) ditch the loser's mentality that's been so endemic throughout the Club.
Aim high. Better to be disappointed than to accept mediocrity.

Fortress BMD and the rest should fall into place quite nicely.
It’d be great to get off to a flyer at BMD , really give us something to build on .

The performances since Moyes arrived coupled with some decent recruitment should provide a bit of confidence going forward . Regards of aims Realistically, we should be more than capable of top half and if things fall into place perhaps better .

Glass half full: New stadium, new owners, Moyes' record for finding bargains is good, if we merely replicate this season's post Dyche form we'd have about 53 - 56 points; lots of teams will have European football with the resulting league distractions.

Glass half empty: There will be at best a lot of new players bedding in, getting used to each other; the new stadium will take time, probably a few seasons, before it'll seem like 'home'; we have about 13 confirmed first team players at present with gaps in several key positions; no prospect of European football to attract new players.
Exactly this. We have had so many false dawns before. The end of season form has been excellent, especially getting results from a group of players who may be leaving and a longer history of evidence of not being good enough to take us to the next level.

This off season is therefore one of the most critical in our history but equally a big ask to get right with small margins for error. Recruitment is crucial. I trust Moyes judgement - which likely means that there will be some head-scratchers in there - but hard to know how well planned we are, with Thelwell having been on the way out for quite a while and Angus only just arriving as CEO. Get it right (even 75%) and we will push on just fine - get it wrong, and we risk ending up going around the same vicious circle.
