Imho, There she goes, I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues and In My Life are all great songs and I have no problem with them being played while the stadiums start filling with the rest of the music that gets played, but none of them are exactly rousing and setting tone for the match are they.
I think Z Cars is absolutely fine for coming out of the tunnel to. It serves as a rousing entrance because it is not just music—it’s tradition, emotion, and pride, all rolled into a distinctive and stirring sound that helps with the initialGoodison Hill Dickinson Roar.
I don’t especially have a problem with changing the music the team comes out to, but it would have to be a pretty compelling tune to change it, there’s nothing much else I can think of that would be suited, even if I needed a bit of time for adjustment.
