Imho, There she goes, I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues and In My Life are all great songs and I have no problem with them being played while the stadiums start filling with the rest of the music that gets played, but none of them are exactly rousing and setting tone for the match are they.

I think Z Cars is absolutely fine for coming out of the tunnel to. It serves as a rousing entrance because it is not just music—it’s tradition, emotion, and pride, all rolled into a distinctive and stirring sound that helps with the initial Goodison Hill Dickinson Roar.

I don’t especially have a problem with changing the music the team comes out to, but it would have to be a pretty compelling tune to change it, there’s nothing much else I can think of that would be suited, even if I needed a bit of time for adjustment.
Nothing quite hits the same.

No it always has to be Z Cars for me. I wouldn’t mind this instead of ‘Forever Everton’ just before kick off though.

Imagine the whole of the new ground belting this out pre match with both sets of players on the pitch - spine tingling.

Can’t change Z Cars after the siren. Even the players say it gets them up for the fight but add There She Goes to the pre/post match playlist. Perfect to play when the Toffee lady is handing out the sweets pre match

Wouldn’t mind it replacing forever Everton just before we kick off.

The claps in that are great but it would be nice for something more iconic.

don’t think anyone’s suggesting swapping it for z cars

where it was just before was great, or ot could be an anthem jsut before kick off and after the players have walked out, instead of forever everton

i guess thats why they call it the blues falls into that category too

i think in my life is more of a one off tune. its more of an elegy than the others
