2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

He's not made his debut for the national side yet, depends on his next move...linked with the top clubs like PSG and City where he may not be 1st choice.

Almada i think would be an interesting as well...but i wouldnt have him over Alcaraz.

Would be nice if we could bring in the likes of the 17 year old though with their vast potential and offer a 1st 11 fast track. He'd be ace off the right.

Seeing Ndiaye and Alcaraz today...could do with another baller on the right...not necessarily a whippet, a Cherki or suchlike.

….don’t we all feel giddy winning 1-0 away at the top sides, even if the game meant nothing

As I’ve said before I just don’t think Moyes will sign him

I was on the fence with him but I think he’s worth a calculated gamble as he can adequately cover a few positions in midfield and he’s proven he’s at least lower half premier league standard

Hes got to beat out the likes of this chap

Also a potential bargain...
Almada certainly looks to be starting to fulfil that early promise after a decent run in the MLS and breaking into the Lyon team in the last few months. He’s only on loan until the end of this season then back to Botofogo I think.

The fee paid for him was a Brazilian record and an MLS record but he went straight out on loan, similar situation to Charly… not sure what all that was about.

N’diaye, Charly and Almada in the same team would be an exceptional transformation.

Textor owns both Botofogo and Lyon so that prob explains his transfer

Honestly even if Moyes doesn't particularly want him at 12m there's probably a good few million to be made just taking the option and selling him on. A young talented kid who has a good bit of PL experience under his belt will have no shortage of suitors.

I think we'll get him low price sell him for a profit in a couple of years.
