Ancelotti was absolutely garbage for us. His first half season was trash given his reputation and then to be 2nd on Boxing Day and end up finishing 11th on his wage and the increase in the wage bill he oversaw was embarrassing. Moyes has come in with a much worse squad and done 5x better.

We finished poorly in his first full season. But he did a good job that first half season when he saved us from relegation worries.

Don’t need any revisionism.

19 points from 18 games when he took over. Finished on 49 points. Moyes return is better but saying Carlos first half season is trash makes you look silly.

Top ten my arse - he should be looking to be best of the rest and then try to move forward from there to challenge the big boys. He did that at West Ham, but was hamstrung by awful owners.

I've got a bit of the Everton back, certainly nothing like the 80's but he's brought back some joy in watching Everton, under Dyche it was an hard watch, he was disconnected from the fans and told us we were lucky to have him, and a 0-0 draw was a great result.

I think we're in a safe pair of hands who will build us for the next 2-3 years before he retires.

This is it. If you are going to back Moyes, back him to the hilt and demand the best he can get us. That should be Europe. Top 10 doesn't cut it. We should realistically challenge for a European place next season if the Friedkins are any cop.
