2024/25 Jack Harrison

To be fair to Jack, he’s often had nowhere to go with the ball. But he’s doubly frustrating because he tends to hold the ball too long and doesn’t see where things have opened up after Dyche. I think he’s looked a bit better, but his delivery has been awful. If they see something in him, I’d guess it comes down to thinking he has the tools and that they can help him regain the confidence and attacking precision lost under Dyche. A gamble, but the only way I see that the club could be interested.

I really like the guy. But he’s precisely the type of player we have to move beyond if we’re ever to have real aspirations. He’s had too long to prove out. Ndiaye joined us, a poor side, and stood out. Beto improved. Look at Delap at Ipswich. It can be done. If Harrison had that magic factor, we’d have seen it. Going forward it needs to be show us and shine or we move on.

What’s his excuse on set pieces? What attacking “precision” did he display when he was in an attacking Leeds team getting relegated?
The fella is on 90k a week and would lose a fight against an asthmatic kitten. He has been here for 2 years ffs, the only thing he has consistently shown is how bad he is with the ball and how he adds absolutely nothing in an attacking sense. Bin.

Hopefully the last time he embarrasses himself in an Everton shirt today.

Surely, SURELY, he's due just 1 out of this world match winning performance where everything just goes right.

Come on Jack, we're all backing you for that once in a lifetime performance!
Please let him have his usual game——if he plays like you want him to then that will convince Moyes to sign him!
