I'm sure there's reasons for it but can't see why Exchange is never mentioned for HS2. Literally nothing in the way of the track approaches still except the offices themselves (which are very dated, I work there). A new Exchange could really help accelerate the flailing business district.
Cool kids are surely gonna head to San's
Yeah it's not great from Huyton, I have family come in from there and the routine will remain Dale St for a few but then walk down instead of train then walk. We really don't do public transport well in this city. Maybe the bus from Commutation Row would be your best option?
This is baloney.
Wish people would stop telling us this rubbish.
They didn't go over 60k because the then hierarchy were weak, had no belief in the fan base. I mean who on earth comes up with 52888? It's just a few hundred more that Newcastle. If they had ambition if they had bo locks, they have just gone biggest stadium outside OT. None of this size envy nonsense from Meis.
Made a balls up on number of seats we have to live with it. Maybe TFG might find ways to increase the capacity, squeeze more in.
So you are saying Dan Meis is lying? This is baloney.

I also wonder if the dock size had anything to do with it. We only leased Bramley Moore, landlocked to the north, but at the stage we hadn’t considered leasing Nelson Dock, I wonder if there was a size limit, because to my untrained eye, other than safe standing it doesn’t look like there is much of a footprint to develop further. This is baloney.

I believe it has been stated that the two sides of BMD have the space - particularly the plaza side to go higher and back if needed. Would be hideously expensive and intrusive while being done but.I also wonder if the dock size had anything to do with it. Cheers mate. Wonder why it's mesh windows? From level 2 you should be able to see it but it will be through the mesh type openings:

From club view on level 3 people will be able to see Goodison in all her glory through proper windows.
Yes I do. Your last sentence shows you still don't get it so I spell it to you: It does not matter if they come because making a business case for extra seats would not make financial sense. Stadium already has all the best (in other words most lucrative) seats. Building another section far away from the pitch would not include premium seats but the cheapest tickets. How much do you think an extra 8000 tickets could generate? How much would those seats cost to build? Why do you want the club to make poor financial decisions? No
I'm saying he has a certain way of thinking. Plus he was guided by the club.
Do you think any other clubs have that POV?
Build it they will come a blue once said. I might be lying there.
Natural ventilation. The general access concourses aren't a heated space so no need for sealed windows which would then require mechanical ventilation. That's my understanding of it anyway.Cheers mate. Wonder why it's mesh windows?

I’m really suprised there isn’t glazing behind those mesh panels if that’s the case.Natural ventilation. The general access concourses aren't a heated space so no need for sealed windows which would then require mechanical ventilation. That's my understanding of it anyway.
I went the first test event and it was proper cold. That being said, was cold everywhere.Be freezing in the winter
I expect all of the western elevation and the North/South west corners are sealed along with any hospitality spaces etc. Ultimately, the GA concourses are akin to a multi-storey car park. I think you'll be surprised at how well protected from the elements they are...however, they will not be particularly warm in winter!I’m really suprised there isn’t glazing behind those mesh panels if that’s the case.
Might not be heated but I’d imagine the ingress of rain and general detritus whipped up by the wind would be enough justification.
I’d imagine the wind would whistle through them too.
