2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Fixed that for you mate.
Seriously he's never been a favourite but he has been in excellent professional over the years and has scored some important goals for us.
I hear you 🤣
In my defense though I was saying they were looking in the defensive box where nothing good happened for him, those important goals were all he has for a highlight reel.
I hope we don't resign him unless on wages that reflect 4th choice CB in a mid table team. I'd be suprised if he accepted that but hopefully that's all he's offered.

Whilst I agree that overall he's been poor, it's not entirely true to say he's always been poor for us. He's had a couple of at least decent seasons. His second season and one under Carlo? My memory there might be wrong, but I defo remember times when most people went from writing him off to saying that he's actually alright. Didn't last long like, and for the money paid, and considering he should now be at the peak of his powers, it's fair to say it hasn't worked out.

Under every new manager he had a period where he impressed in training and got a run of games.
He's never been consistent enough for me

Whatever is happening with Keane and others is not likely to be announced ahead of a game on Sunday where we will need some of them to start.
I’m not sure about that logic. Whatever gets announced, it’s not like the players themselves don’t know. It seems pretty clear we’ve offered them all something, it’s just a case of whether they’re accepting it or not.

I could see that in the case of Young or Doucoure whoave been announced already by them first, but this close to a game I think it would be foolish on behalf of the manager, the player and the fans to announce anything.
