Steve, Alan, Brian and Colin. You heard it here first.Has there been any mention of what the stands are going to be named - or is it just staying as North, South East West?

Is everyone forgetting our lovely neighbours had to move a few games away when the big stand was built?
Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert. Unfortunately Dibble and Grub were eliminated at the final stage. We wish them luck in their future stadium stands' name search.Steve, Alan, Brian and Colin. You heard it here first.
Too much to say here and it's speculation since I've not seen the inside of the building and despite repeated requests by the good people of GOT, LOR and the other builders have not submitted their construction schedules for public comment. But here are a few important ideas to keep in mind:
Delays are always longer than predicted, especially when they already exist
Problems create consequences in sequence; just like a bottleneck on roads cause problems further down the road, a problem with your construction timeline (subcontractor availability, shipping delay, etc) always creates more problems later
Lounges are probably the least important item* to deliver; maybe that's why they aren't finished yet, because important items have been focused on, but these will certainly be the last items delivered. *Maybe offices are least important, but they're both at the bottom of the list of what has to be working to host a football match.
The first match is less than 3 months away; that's an extremely quick timeline even for refurbishing an existing restaurant, but these aren't existing. Everything has to be installed new, inspected and certificated for safety, etc (or whatever local regulations require), and this has to be repeated for multiple venues (6 lounges total?). That's a lot of work in a short time period. Unless what's being reported is entirely incorrect (which is possible), delivering 6 venues from nothing to complete and functional in less than 3 months would be a spectacular result.
plus they could have people working shifts too. It’s going to cost to have 24/7 work on the site but it’s not impossible - could be cheaper than any costs related to delays too.3 months for an internal fit-out is not an impossible delivery by any stretch of the imagination. They don't have to do any strip out, they're building out an empty shell. A lot of it will be stud walling, and furniture install. I would only be remotely concerned if they haven't started it before the end of the month.
Fit-out conpletion can happen very quickly. They can just chuck a shed load of people at it. Area completion doesn't have to happen sequentially, they can all be worked on at the same time. You can effectively complete 30 boxes in the time it takes to complete 1.
Ah, cheers.View attachment 309478
I'm guessing they're the timeline stones. They were in the promo video when Everton Way was announced.
So it looks like the extension they talked about previously was adding extra rows of stones where those timeline stones were intended to go, and the timeline stones themselves have been shifted up in line with the support pillars.View attachment 309478

Remember that...they did a whole flipping ceremony on Sky over a frigging stand. Is everyone forgetting our lovely neighbours had to move a few games away when the big stand was built?
They've ballsed it up. The pillars will be in the way.View attachment 309478

3 months? They have been working on them since January. I’m not particularly good at maths but I calculate Jan - end of July close to 8 months.Too much to say here and it's speculation since I've not seen the inside of the building and despite repeated requests by the good people of GOT, LOR and the other builders have not submitted their construction schedules for public comment. This looks very much like a very very early picture of the this concourseI've mentioned it numerous times and the other lad got ridiculed for it despite myself posting a photo.
They would have shown them off by now.
Whether it's ready on time or not the club have been very proud to post the externals but not the internals.
