*enormous Caveat that he’s playing against comfortably the worst premier league side I’ve seen in about a decade.

Will take notice when he does that against proper teams and defenders.

He’s scored 8 league goals in basically half a seasons worth of minutes. You might not like his style so much but to say he hasn’t “done it” against sides better than saints isn’t fair.

Undisputedly the best striker at the club today.

That's quite the turn around.

Even his biggest haters are having to eat crow and admit, begrudgingly, that he's the most effective goalscorer we have.

Oh, I know some of you long for the days when we didn't score goals but the lay offs, headers and hold up play were magnificent.... But this is Beto's Everton where we focus on scoring goals and winning matches.

He’s ugly but certainly can be effective for sure.

Just his hold up play and all round game looked much improved against saints. Again though they were so poor it’s hard to judge him. Ideally I hope he gets a go at it next year but finances might dictate he moves on so we can sign someone slightly more suited to Moyes’ style.

Depends who’s available, but I’d certainly be trying to build behind him and in the wide positions as a priority first.

Deserves to start next season but also need a new striker to push or take that number 9 spot as their own maybe more minutes for chermiti as well. Either way massive task in bringing in players this summer.
