I crossed the paths of two of those in my years in Africa. The other was a primary teacher from Toronto, the other an UN-official from Blind River.

They both said they had escaped Leafs to Eastern Africa.

Not so, they reached the 3rd round a few times in the 1990s with Doug Gilmour and Felix Potvin… then Mats Sundin and Curtis Joseph. They have not reached the Cup Final since the last time they won it.
 
Missed tonight’s game bc was at niece’s dance recital but got to watch OT and the handshake on the recording. Really want to see the handshake live some day. Also this is a sick save by Otter.

 

I felt horrible for Scheifele being the guy who had to take that professional foul to save the game. And then his opposite number scores while he’s in the penalty box. Absolutely cruel with him dealing with the loss of his dad.
 

Florida Panthers flew out the traps in period 1 but I felt Leafs had the more clear chances but didn't take them then 2nd period onwards they just completely fell apart, really weak and slow to any loose puck, and they then have no belief of ever getting back into the game. My first time watching the play offs and I'll continue to watch to see who wins it.
