It’s a difficult one.
It depends on what the transfer strategy is and our ability to execute on it.
I think not playing him cost Lampard his job and the stats say that over his time here since 2020 (no small sample ) we are vastly a better team with him than without.

This guy is the definition of what fans mean when they say ‘even if he’s not great you expect nothing less than giving 100%’ he was really loved playing for us you can tell and gave his all despite his limitations. Looks like the best thing for both parties. He still has something to offer a club in a less intense league environment, we need improvement on what we have, it would have been nice to get a fee for him but that is the Everton way. Good luck to him in the future, I always thought he tried hard for us and gave of his best.
