I don't get this. The song is totally inappropriate and has zero relevance to us apart from having the word "blues" in the title.

If we 're going to adopt a song I would prefer it to have some relevance or connection to the club, personally.

Obviously the 84 connection, but lyrically it fits perfectly with following a football team.

"Time on my hands could be time spent with you"

It's always been a staple of being a blue for me that song.

Yeah but apart from it referencing the blues, it being on a famous club banner, the crowd belting it out and recently creating a new banner with a different line from the song, and the club using it as part of their official send off for Goodison, what's it got to do with us?! NOTHING.

Always been song that just reminds me of Liverpool , always felt like it was played in ours as a kid . To hear it on Sunday just made me smile, it’s our song now and I love that it will always remind me of what quite simple is the great place on earth.
