2024/25 David Moyes

Can we just compare the results against the teams Dyche was in charge versus the same teams for Moyes.
Does that tell us anything, given not always the same players were available
Not really because Moyes had to face Liverpool twice and Dyche had Bournemouth twice.

So to date Moyes has been worth net +11 points more.
Thanks Slaven!

If he's backed sufficiently in the summer, then he needs to be aiming for top 10 next season really.
On the current trajectory since Moysey has take charge, we'd be on target for around the 55-60 point mark over a full season, so that has to be the target. That would show real progress. The new stadium and the scale of the squad re-build will have an effect on this, but its hard to say to what degree. Teams do usually struggle in their first season in a new stadium.

Thought he spoke brilliantly and inspirationally after the game on Sunday, and seems he is challenging the owners, which is more than he did previously.

He wants to strive for better, which is what we all want.

He’s definitely a better, calmer, more focused manager than the one that left us.

Huge summer ahead, but he can spot a player and his transfer dealings were normally good so I hope they back him adequately.

Do we need to? Moyes has done far better at 1.56 pts per game vs Dyches 0.76 pts per game. More than double the difference and same amount of games played more of less (Moyes has one game extra). Moyes gets us close to 59 pts with this squad - Dyche gets us 29 pts. Case closed

We struggled at Goodison. I don't think we can use the new estadio as an excuse.

absolutely shudder to think how sunday would have gone if dyche had still been in charge

Moyes turned things around and brought the feel good factor back

he's also given me hope and optimism back and proepr investment in the team

Under lampard and Dyche I was just going the game to experience Goodison before it was gone, a 3 year goodbye from me. Under Moyes I actually really care about what's happening with the squad

Makes the Doucoure love in all the more painful like, but I havent felt this way about Everton sine I was a teenager
