Come on now. All that proves is that there were no Chelsea supporters at yesterday’s gameAnd that's the difference between us and that lot View attachment 309033

I never come on the forums but needed to come on and check I wasn’t the only one really struggling today.
Feel a massive sense of loss. I’m devastated about it.
Tears yday in the ground and a couple of times today I’ve had a little cry. I’m 41 for Christ sake and got a lot more in life to stress about than not going to Goodison.
Just a huge part of my life going there, doesn’t feel real that yday was the last one.
Nothing will ever be the samehopefully I start to feel a bit more excited about the new ground but at the moment it feels like my Everton has gone…… Gonna set myself off again here

So sorry you feel that way mate, I hope that time serves to heal your wounds. I think we are all feeling a sense of loss today, but I think mine comes with a sense of hope as well. We have had a beautiful relationship with Goodison Park, and the memories will live on forever. Nobody can take those away, but if Everton are going to be a force again, we must move on. To use the tired woman metaphor again, the way I feel right now is that of a lovely relationship, that has now come to a natural and amicable conclusion, I feel a bit upset and lost. But as I look up, some absolute sex pot (BMD) is winking at me from across the bar. I’m ready to love againI never come on the forums but needed to come on and check I wasn’t the only one really struggling today.

Haha thanks mate. Your metaphor is a good way to describe it…. I met my wife when we were 17 so maybe I’m just not good at ending relationshipsSo sorry you feel that way mate, I hope that time serves to heal your wounds. That's why it's so special. All those things are almost an extension of the ground.Talking in work about how amazing yesterday was also punched me in the gut (without showing it) that while we’ll have future memories to come at the HDS, it’ll never be anything like what we saw yesterday because there won’t be that community spirit where you can slip out of a crowd and end up in another street or nip into a Newsagent to top up on the ale or pop into Hills to put a cheeky bet on or soak up the ale with a bag of greasy chips
What an odd question!i’ve still been watching the aftermath of the game not the actual game
am i weird? yes does it feel weird? very
i have this like eeery feeling i can’t shake yet
I thought a minimum of 5,000 outside but must have been way more. There was a crowd singing on Goodison Road the entire game, plus all the pubs were packed. Even the Top House stopped letting people in by half time.Any estimates on numbers ? If our group is anything to go by then there was 50/50 people without tickets, must have been a lot
My god, that's hit me hard.Another story from Sunday.
Ive sat next to the same bloke for about 10 years. He brings one of his lads every week alternating between his two boys. Ive watched them grow up and they are now about 14 and 17. They were both in the seats on Sunday and i asked where Dad was. They told me they needed three tickets and dad had been trying all week. They came, all together , them thinking it was all sorted. He used his phone to get access for his two lads and they went through the turnstiles. Then he stepped away. He stayed outside. He had not really got the third.
I read somewhere last night...sorry can't remember where due to a few cans..but it was estimated at 550,000.Sorry if I've missed it, and it's probably impossible to answer, but does anyone know how many of us were locked outside without a ticket.
I'd guess a minimum of 5,000 as even the Top House was rammed with people watching the game on the box there.
