European Football 2024-25

Bologna win their first trophy for 51-years, by defeating Milan in the Final.

An amazing achievement. Italiano has done an amazing job since replacing Thiago Motta.

Bologna guaranteed Europa. For Milan? A year of no European Football beckons. Maybe sacking Pioli was the wrong choice all along!

Dan Ndoye, once heavily linked to hs, with the winner, he's been a great player for Bologna!

I actually went to a Champions League game last season, got last-minute tickets to watch Atletico play, and it was unreal. The energy inside the stadium doesn’t compare to watching on TV. Even sitting farther up, the noise is intense and the atmosphere totally pulls you in. You do end up relying heavily on stadium screens sometimes, but still worth it.

Yeah I've been there. Great atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of the new ground though.

This season I’m planning a trip around one of the big matches from the knockouts, and maybe catching a La Liga game while I’m there too. I found a pretty solid way to compare ticket options and pricing, see here if you’re also thinking about going. It made the planning way easier for me.

Went to an Athletic match a few weeks ago. Easy enough to get a ticket from them but going to be hard for champions league next season.
