I don't think Doucoure fits this either, but if you look at many of the ACMs Moyes has had (Cahill, Fellaini, Soucek)-all good in the air. Alcaraz doesn't fit that.

Once his stamina is gone, Tim tended to give away the ball so easily in dangerous area. Tim lacks defensive awareness. Probably 4th/5th choice CM.

I think he’s very good and hope we buy him.

I'm not saying there is a cam available for 12m, but if there was an option to buy another cam for say 15-20m who was better I'd rather pay the extra and get the other. Just he hasn't impressed me from what I've seen, he scored 1 and assisted 3 in 17 games (obviously not starts but still) just think we could get better for a little bit more spend.

You bracketed it but you know its nowhere near 17 games. He's started 6.
In that position where we struggle so much a better stat would be he's had 649 minutes on the pitch and directly assisted 3 goals.
Doucoure has had 2,563 minutes on the pitch this season and assisted 2 goals.

I hope we aren't playing contract/fee shenanigans and it was just a send off for Abdoulaye which I think it was. The only reason I see not to sign him is if the language barrier is so bad that we can't communicate properly with him. Even then, I think that is something that can improve over time.

His prem stats this season are 15 games and 6 starts. You said they aint all starts but still. Whats the but still bit lol.
you said you wanted better stats. Doucoure plays in the role alcaraz does so i provided better stats. 3 assists over 2 with far less game time.
I thought it was pretty self-explanatory.

I love your faith in him but I just don’t see how he has this quality. He’s 1000% better than what we’ve had. He’s no better than Ryan Christie at Bournemouth for me.
