Played well again. Never let's a miss get him down. Never hides and can score goals.

Think he might just well be a great fit next season in a Moyes full season.

He hasn't been in top flight footy long. He is what you would call a late bloomer and I would back him to improve with service and the backing of the manager. He has a whole off-season to work on his game with (hopefully) proper backing this time. He has improved all around. Had a few games where he looked a solid footballer. Want to see MANY games where he looks a solid footballer in addition to his goalscoring.

Drogba had a similar career path and he turned out ok

Thought he had prettty much his best all round game today, actually showed a bit of composure and awareness at times. Just a player that you absolutely love to see do well.

Played well today (against a poor defense). Should have held his run better for the 1st offside goal. Offside by a nose with his 2nd. Decent showing all round though.

Seems like he may be getting actual guidance and help in the areas he is lacking, rather than just Dyche saying “he’s still learning”. Good all round striker performance today, just missing a legit goal.

That's a reach, remember watching him for Marseille and seeing a player lightyears in front of everything around him for and against. Probably the greatest solo forward striker of the PL era. A colossus, and who's work helping his side defend was part of why they were so resolute.

Beto is a 1 in 3 chances striker, we need the burden of goals sharing round a bit more and to be making him far more chances so he gets the taste for it.

Ways to go for ol' Beto, needs an intense summer of study if he stays but the foundation's there.
