That fella standing with his top off on the stand defo snorted these

I think the comments about the atmosphere are way off. The ground was bouncing in the first half. Second half the players started to ease off pass sideways and back to the keeper etc. the crowd got quieter and quieter as it went on. My abiding memory from today is that with a few rare exceptions, those players really don't deserve our fans.

Are revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the Grand Old Lady herself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep

The Tempest, Act 4 Scene1

Been the case for years sadly.

Southampton were unquestionably the better in the second half, yet most of the fans in our section didn't care - we were enjoying each other's company.

Today was about the people.
