Best frozen chips for an air fryer

Over salted French fries - McDonalds wouldn't even know what a proper chips are.
Oh, and 'frozen' chips done in an 'air fryer' FFS! What next? Garlic bread and cheese cake.?

You are of course correct, that frozen chips in an airfryer are no match for a triple cooked chip fried in dripping.
However such endeavours when pissed as a fart are surely only going to end in a fire?

Besides doing proper chips make you house smell like a deep fat fryer and are an absolute ball ache to clean up after.

Also Jamie Bigtongue loves an airfried cheese cake

Only a savage would use one for garlic bread though.

air fry on 140 or so for about 8 minutes, give em a shake and a bump, another 2-3mins. Onto the plate with the rested steak, finish off the fried egg, then the pepper corn sauce. crispy, and fluffy, and perfect.

I found a 1970s Zyliss fry slicer (shoestring, regular or thick cut) from our local Salvation Army for a pittance, built like a tank. Deep fryer, always fresh cut potatoes - only question is which local potato variety (There at least 3 varieties that make great chips)

In laws bought us a deep fryer when we built our house as a house warming gift, 11 years ago - works great and I clean it fairly regularly. Recycle used oil (after about 10 sessions)

Just cut out all those fancy ideas and go the Chippy.. add Fish, peas, maybe a small pot of hot curry. And it's cooked for you.
