The name may change. Who knows. Most will probably call it BMD. Goodison is iconic and what made it look the way it does was Archibald Leitch and his name isn’t on it. I like that it’s at least named for a long-standing local entity. Rather that than so many other names it could’ve been. If I had my choice it would be great that we were so successful we could do away with naming rights and call it Everton Stadium.

I'll be brave enough to say that I actually LIKE the name. It's good precisely because it doesn't sound corporate. Hill-Dickinson sounds like it could've been the name of the dock instead of Bramley-Moore. I mean, hell, there's an arena in the US that's literally called "The KFC Yum! Center." This is a hell of a lot better than that.
