New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I must say that I'm finding a lot of the reaction over the name to be very over the top...

It's a local, very old business that I would've thought the vast majority of local fans would've been familiar with? why the jokes? šŸ¤” strikes me as incredibly immature behaviour...
I see you're an Eagles fan. I'm from Philadelphia. Do you remember when the Eagles moved to Lincoln Financial Field, and everyone hated the name, and even the idea of selling naming rights rather than having a meaningful name? Almost immediately, fans started calling it "the Linc," and the same thing happened with the Phillies and Citizens Bank Park becoming simply "the Bank." No one has complained about the naming rights in decades and fans have been content with the nicknames. I'm sure something similar will happen here. The Hill, the Dock, or what about shortening Dickinson to the Dixie for Dixie Dean?

Well done for defending and speaking up for Slavery.

Excellent work my friend.

I quite like the Stadium name and that the company has a modern slavery statement that we as human beings can get behind and support.

In that vein, it would’ve been nice to have Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock like Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Yep, totally agree. Give it a nickname and make it our own. I quite like your suggestions.

Welcome to GoT, the digital madhouse proudly (and sometimes reluctantly) supporting Everton Football Club.
Here you’ll find Everton’s premier fans forum, where optimism goes to die, and logic takes a long holiday. Our members include a wide range of contributors, from part-time philosophers and full-time moaners, to tactical masterminds whose qualifications include watching Match of the Day once and shouting at pigeons in the park.
Enjoy binary posturing, where every issue is either the end of the world or the start of a glorious revolution – there is no middle ground. One moment you’re calling for the manager to be knighted, the next you’re demanding he’s launched into the Mersey in a wheelie bin.
You’ll also find a seemingly endless supply of unqualified experts in everything from finance (ā€œI read a tweet once, trust meā€), to player fitness (ā€œHe looks knackered – I should know, I ran for a bus in 2006ā€).
And of course, no GoT experience would be complete without our trademark disdain for all things Everton-related – the only fanbase where hating your own club is a core bonding activity. From the owners to the kit man to the seagulls at Finch Farm, no one is safe.

I almost mentioned that. I can see that happening in the future. If supporters continue to use the BMD name, the club may be compelled to incorporate it.

It's been a long, long, long time since I've wanted the manager to be knighted.
