….tbf he said Young has been offered a new deal and negotiations were taking place, he didn’t say he’d agreed to sign one.

It might well be the case that Young didn’t want another season with us or couldn’t accept the terms offered.

Im a little surprised the club hasn’t cut off this kind of thing by now . Depends on who his sources are I guess.

Shame young is leaving but can understand it now we are better off financially. Can see him maybe going to a newly promoted club as still seems to be performing at a good level and isn't getting injuries

Had a very solid spell earlier in the season when we were scrapping for points and some good cameos towards the end of the season. Covered many positions and been a model pro and an example to younger players.

The haters on here crucified him for two "penalties" against Notts Forest that weren't even awarded so you have to take any criticisms of him with a big pinch of salt. He's played a part in keeping us in the Premier League.
