can almost see it now, players lining up in the tunnel, as they look up to see what invites them into a world class stadium. Might it be something similar to Old Trafford: the theatre of dreams, this is Anfield, welcome to Goodison Park? and then they see it

‘Welcome to the Hill Dickinson Stadium’
It's a bit of a mouthful...

I think there was a best of both worlds where we could have gone with something like the HD Bramley Moore Stadium. Similar to what some mentioned when USM would have sponsored it. It’s a similar idea to the Spotify Nou Camp. Just dropping the original name overall is a bad move for me.

Or like at Goodison.

"Welcome to....."

"Home of the Blues"

Wed never have been able to keep Bramley Moore as a name though, due to his slavery links.

That's why we've been using "Everton Stadium".

To be fair to us this is probably the best type of deal we can expect these days.

Unlike Spurs we have to accept any deal we can take as we are now a non-entity when it comes to being a big player in the league these days.

When the scab six tried to force a break away we probably never got a second thought to be involved. Unlike back in the early 90's when we were a part of the Scab five to force the creation of the Premier League for more TV money.
