No mate you're not,I get why fans are having a wobble.

We're leaving a stadium thats synonymous with the club, into a new stadium, with a naming rights deal thats got absolutely nothing to do with the club itself.

It's all pretty raw at the minute everything that's going on,but you're the prime example of someone who's had wobble, settled down and thought, actually it not even that bad.👍

👍

If it’s all they could attract then fair enough but I thought TFG with all their connections would have been able to attract bigger , cooler blue chip brands
Can't remember what journo it was but they said back in Feb the club where looking locally for a naming rights deal everyone said it would be AJ bell and now it's Hill Dickinson,so that was proven to be right.

The thing is mate we've all assumed that being in the PL with TFG and their clout would have guaranteed us a Blue chip brand, well hasn't...which tells the amount of work to be done on and off the pitch before chip brands are willing to associate themselves with us.

It will come but for the time being lets stick with HD...grow the club and then watch sponsors knock out door down.

Tbf if the name is a bit poo then that just impacts more on the sponsor than us

Arsenal and City stadium are known as Emirates and Etihad without problem. Whereas this may just be getting called Bramley Moore by everyone and sponsor name bypassed

Besides the initial reaction really nothing to be getting too stressed over.

And as others have said really its a more respectable sponsor than others anyway.

WE have had the legend of Dixie Dean proudly associated with this great club for 100 years. Have we ever been worried about the fact fans could tease us with his name as the Dix part sounds like something rude. To me the new stadium name sounds dull, like a chain of unmemorable hotels or a wool manufacturing company. I am not worried about one of the 8 syllables in its full title. I just wish we had been sponsored by a company called Dragon Pit or something like that with a bit of pizzazz

The name is unlucky, but really appreciate that a local company committed itself to pay a decent amount of money for the naming rights.
