Hill Dickinson Stadium

Doesn't matter who it i, all that matters in the cash.

Was always going to be alien after Goodison.

We should call it “The Dixie “ for short.
Decided I quite like 'The Dixie', I reckon folk could get behind that. Club legend etc, but i guess a sponsorship isn't permanent so we have to get used to it changing every few years. So i think on balance I'll likely stick with 'Bramley Moore' unless something else gains traction with supporter consensus. We have to start building the next chapter of our history at this new stadium and the supporters will decide how that goes not the bean counters or lawyers at Dickies.

Not quite sure what any of us were expecting, we've had a long line of bizarre sponsors, from HAFNIA, NEC, CHANG, KEJIAN - not too many I heard of before they sponsored us - and to be honest not much whilst or after sponsoring us. The only one I've ever heard of is Angry Birds on the arm sponsorship deal.

My dad did once get a tin of Hafnia cooked ham for me as a present - probably still at the back of the cupboard

What if the stadium had been called Hill Dixon ( English version of the Scottish name Dickinson) Would we have still been having a melt down over the name. Opposing fans IE the reds will always look for a defamatory name.

Exactly, I'm sure a few in here have referred to theirs as Analfield in the past... It's what immature footie fans do. What does it really matter?
