New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Absolutely atrocious name, I've momentarily lost my head over a stadium name but wow that's so bad!

Had no issue with it being a sponsored name, but sureley the Hill Dickinson Bramley Moore Dock Stadium would have been better???

when this inevitably runs to an end as the amount a local solicitor is paying is likely very low … i imagine it will be difficult to get a big name to come on board as late stadium names don’t really stick. Which is why the other clubs held / are holding out rather than jumping at the first deal. Did anyone call the sports direct stadium that name other than commentators ?

Spurs didn't wait mate, they've not just been twiddling thumbs for 5/6 years - they just failed. Every season since their stadium opened has lessened the appeal of any naming rights.

I was concerned we wouldn't get a naming rights deal - devil will be in the detail. How much it brings in.
Understand to a point but that's because Levy would have said no to a derisory offer. No way this one we've got is anything other than poor. Probably long term also.

Who even agreed it with no proper CEO in place?

What a dreadful name for a stadium.

“becoming one of the largest stadium naming rights deals in Europe”

Compared to who? More marketing guff.

And some wonder why others complain a lot, it’s because they constantly underwhelm ! It’s not difficult to understand.
Hill Dickinson onl;y turnover 145m a year, don`t reckon we are even getting £10m a year, prob more like 3m or 4m... Doesn`t even move the dial....

I do wonder what else is in this deal, they say its more than just stadium naming. Are they going to sue City for millions and do it all successfully, for nowt. Bat away all clubs coming at us for money, flip it and take them to the cleaners?

No?

Oh, OK.

Maybe they've bought a box as well.
