A lap of honour doesn't just have to be following trophy wins.
Sure, but it should at least be reserved for occasions where the team have done the coub proud. This side have done nothing, absolutely nothing to warrant being honoured. Their home record in this final, historic season at Goodison has been nothing short of shameful. Even by the piss poor standards we've had in recent years its been absolutely unacceptable. There's a couple of players who deserve better but for the most part, that whole side is an utter disgrace to the shirt.

I hope you all enjoy the occasion lads - I was too young to go myself, but love speaking to our old boys about when we left Roker Park, and their memories of the old ground. I'm sure it'll be the same for you lot in the years to come.

Loved visiting Goodison all the times I've been there with the lads - mostly losing tbf - and was lucky enough to be at the Spurs game this season in your main stand. It's a beautiful old ground for a grand old team.

…a bit different;

….wondered if they should’ve had a fans zone in our half of Stanley Park for fans to watch the game.
Enough pubs & bars nearby for people without tickets to watch the gane, will be busy though, everyone will just spill out onto the main roads once the games over
