It's weird because I've known for at least a year that I'll not step foot inside Goodison again to watch a game of football, but as the game gets closer it's still getting more emotional as the videos and news articles are coming out with all the memories and history that's attached to the place.

Can only imagine how those of you who have had season tickets for years are feeling!

It'll be a momentous occasion on Sunday and I think once it's all over we'll all breathe a sigh of relief that we're finally, albeit two decades too late, moving to a place that will enable us to hopefully challenge the teams above us.

The Guardian has been magnificent this week to Everton. Today's photo essay is a thing of absolute beauty, and I say this as an instructional designer.

I've saved a few of those pictures off, and that's something I never do.

Just magnificent stuff.

No lap of honour for the players? If so, that is disappointing.
That's the best thing I've heard about this whole episode. A "lap of honour" for delivering five home wins (this is presuming we beat Southampton) all season? Nah, no thanks. There's a few exceptions but for the most part, I hope that the team buggers off down the tunnel at full time and are never seen anywhere near a pitch representing the club again.

Thanks for sharing the link mate, brilliant article and the pictures are immaculate. The poem has ruined me, goosebumps. 💙💙💙

This is one of my favourite photos - she’ll happily obstruct your view.

Wouldn’t change her for the world.
