We kind of are acting on pollution for our own good. We need the earth to be within certain parameters in order for us to survive. As you say, the earth will continue to exist in many different states. Climate change will always happen, but the pace is 100% being affected by our actions and is happening quicker than at any time in known history. That is the core issue.

Tbh I don't think TFG have made that decision purely out of the goodness of their own hearts. Great PR for them, great for getting fans on side. But my gut feeling is that they've made that decision primarily as a PSR move.
They are seemingly less brash than most American owners but they are still American. They aren't going to want to wait to be competitive.

It's a little late to call the morality police on Everton, however.
Even so I can’t see them selling it back to themselves (woman’s team) for enough to fund a major splurge in this window. TBH if it was anything over £20m it would raise eyebrows but that barely gets one ½ decent full back never mind fund a squad overhaul.

Amortisation. The 75m that Chelsea got from selling the 2 hotels allowed them to spend way more than 75m on players. Obviously they spread them across insanely long contracts as well but we wouldn't need to do that.
I have genuinely no idea what the monetary value of Goodison is, but in my (obviously biased) head i think TFG could make a strong argument for a valuation well above 20m.
I'm definitely being foolishly optimistic but I cant help but feel like TFG may actually be pulling a rabbit out of a hat here.
Noticeably with most of the PSR dodges from Chelsea the loopholes are conveniently shut down, after Chelsea have used them, one of them being the right of nine year deals they were giving their newest signings.
